Mayor of London cuts vital 213 bus route
Local Lib Dems were shocked to learn that the Mayor of London has decided to reduce the frequency of the 213 bus.
The popular route is used by 15,000 local people every day and, despite this, the Mayor is cutting 26 buses a day from the service.
Cllr Ruth Dombey, Lib Dem Leader of Sutton Council, said:
“By cutting the 213, the Mayor is showing yet again that he just does not care about the people of our borough.
"He should be investing in local transport links, not cutting them.”
Sutton Lib Dems have launched a campaign calling on the Mayor to reverse his decision -- please sign the petition online at www.suttonlibdems.org.uk/213.
