Greater police focus on Beddington
Beddington will see local police teams spending more time in our area instead of being redeployed to Croydon, according to the borough’s new Police Superintendent.
This is the result of a Met Police review that will see the merger of Sutton, Croydon and Bromley’s police altered.
We will also see the local teams based closer to their wards and borough operations managed from Sutton Police Station.
Lib Dem Councillors opposed the three-borough-merger and will continue to push for single borough command units and a return to dedicated community policing.
