Carshalton Ponds improvement works

A major project to make improvements to Carshalton ponds will begin this year.
The work was due to start at the end of 2022, however issues up stream came up that needed to be dealt with first.
These repairs took longer than expected but have now been completed.
To avoid disturbing nesting birds in the Spring this year, the council has pushed the work on Carshalton Ponds back to late 2023.
While the delay is unfortunate, it is essential that the work is done correctly without disrupting wildlife around the Ponds.
