Bobby’s team cleans up Mill Green

Bobby Dean joined local volunteers, Gemma and Alex, on a litter pick of Mill Green in Hackbridge.

Residents have recently reported litter issues around Mill Green and on the walk up to Mitcham Junction Station, so the local Liberal Democrat team took action.

The team took part in a community clean up on the morning of Saturday 19th February. They were able to clear all of Mill Green itself and get some of the way up to Mitcham Junction, before the team were eventually rained off. 

The team collated about a dozen bags worth of rubbish and plan to do a further clean up soon.

Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate, Bobby Dean, said:

“Mill Green is a beautiful pocket of green space and we want to keep it that way. After residents noticed a litter problem, we decided to organise a community clean-up so we could get it back to how it should be.”
