Aaron, Sunita and Barry
Cllr Aaron Goater, Cllr Sunita Gordon and Cllr Barry Lewis are your Liberal Democrat councillors for Wallington North. They were first elected in 2026, 2010 and 2019.
They are working hard all year round, listening to residents and taking action on your priorities. Recently, they have secured improvements to the 154 bus route, taken action on fly-tipping, increased litter patrols and planted thousands of trees. They have worked with local police to increase neighbourhood patrols, crack down on illegal e-bikes and shoplifting, and keep our area one of the safest in London.
Your team are standing up for residents by taking action on the cost-of-living, fighting for our local health services and working closely with the local police to increase neighbourhood patrols and keep our area safe. They are on hand to tackle any concerns you might have about issues the local council is responsible for in your local area.
Meet the team…
Aaron is an expert on energy and climate change. He spent much of his career as an adviser to the government and now helps companies to improve sustainability.
Aaron volunteers at the local parkrun and regularly clears litter. He lives near Westcroft Leisure Centre and enjoys spending time in Beddington Park with his toddler.
Sunita has supported hundreds of local residents and, as Finance Lead, ensures that money is spent wisely and delivers local improvements.
Sunita lives in Wallington with her family and works across the media and tech sectors. She is a key part of the local community, volunteering to support elderly neighbours with shopping and home-cooked meals. Sunita is also a local school governor.
As Leader of Sutton Council, Barry has driven local investment and made sure services deliver for residents.
Barry has helped secure a £500 million investment to bring the London Cancer Hub to Sutton, supported improvements in our parks and overseen a 24-hour repair guarantee for major potholes. He lives locally with his wife and is a local scout leader.
